Steinhart Aviation GMT

A short while ago I came across Steinhart Watches from Germany. There are quite a few boutique watch companies springing up these days. I felt however that Steinhart had a unique selection of watches that are actually Swiss made and use ETA movements. They range in price from about $400 to around $1200. Steinhart has some wonderful original designs although some of its range is made for those who like the vintage Rolex look as well. I decided to buy an Aviation GMT, which to me is a great looking thing with a dial and shape reminiscent of aircraft instruments. It uses an ETA 2893-2 GMT movement which allows quick setting of the GMT function as well as the date. This is a nice feature as even a ROLEX Explorer has to have its hour hand wound around through 12 hours to change the date wheel one click.see more svizzera rolex and Tag Heuer
